Professor Grant Waterer joined the Board of the Lions Eye Institute in 2018. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians. He is Professor of Medicine at UWA and Director of Clinical Services at Royal Perth Bentley Group. He holds a PhD focused on pneumonia and a Master of Business Administration.
