At the Lions Eye Institute we can offer patients the full spectrum of ophthalmic care.
All of our ophthalmologists are sub-specialists, with some even specialising in more than one area. This means they have completed intensive training, including extra qualifications to gain expertise in treating specific or more complex conditions in certain parts of the eye or in certain types of patients. Many of our clinicians are also involved in the latest technological advances and scientific research.

To assist your patients learn more about their eye condition, a range of Fact Sheets is provided, and we encourage you to provide these to your patient.

Once your referral has been received, it will be triaged according to urgency. If you have any specific concerns or information you would like us to know, please make sure this is indicated on the referral.
